CELEBRITIES PAY TRIBUTE TO MARY TYLER MOORE ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

Mary Tyler Moore, a legendary television icon who rose to fame in the 60's on The Dick Van Dyke Show and later as the star of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, died on Wednesday at 80.
Celebrities paid tribute to the actress on social media, in the wake of her death.

“A great lady I loved and owe so much to has left us,” wrote her former co-star Ed Asner. “I will miss her. I will never be able to repay her for the blessings that she gave me.”

A great lady I loved and owe so much to has left us. I will miss her. I will never be able to repay her for the blessings that she gave me.

#marytylermoore my heart goes out to you and your family. Know that I love you and believe in your strength.

    — Ed Asner (@TheOnlyEdAsner) January 25, 2017

In a statement to EW, Moore’s costar from 1967’s Thoroughly Modern Millie, Julie Andrews, called her a “very dear friend.”

“We bonded instantly on the film,” Andrews said, “and laughed our way through the production. Ever since that time, we never referred to each other again as Julie and Mary. Whenever we bumped into each other, people must have thought us nuts…screaming across some shopping aisle in a supermarket or yelling to each other down the corridors of CBS…’Millie! Miss Dorothy!'”

“She was a joy to work with, her talent was monumental. She was brave, kind, generous and an activist for many causes,” Andrews continued. “I will miss my ‘Miss Dorothy’ so much, but I’m comforted to know that the joy she brought us all will be everpresent in her many films and television shows.”

Moore’s friend Larry King also expressed his condolences, tweeting, “Mary Tyler Moore was a dear friend and a truly great person. A fighter. Rest in peace, MTM.”

THE CURRENT STATE OF RAILWAY LINE AT OGBETE MAIN MARKET ENUGU.

The people who their shops are located at the railway line are lamenting of the poor state of the place. The soakaway pipe connecting the prison got busted since August and has spilled all over the place making the place very unfavourable for the people to do their business.

The state Governor, His Excellency Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi promised to fix the problem but nothing has been done since then.
According to one of the shop owners who spoke to me, told me that they were even forced to pay 500 for those that has a shop and 300 for those without a shop for the repair by the market task force. They are angry that up till now that nothing has been done.
They are begging the Governor to rescue them from what they are passing through.

WATCH THE VIDEO :THIS RECESSION HAS TAKEN ANOTHER DEMENSION ON PEOPLE

Watch as these women lament about the current situation in the country. It is just too painful to see that the citizens of these country are no more proud of Nigeria.

MMM IS BACK.

We are now open!!! :-))

Dear members,

The holidays are over, and we''re now open. Just as promised. (You might have already noticed that we always stick to our promises. :-)) Actually, we promised to be open on January 14, but we''re open now, January 13, as you can see, which is a day earlier. (Well, I hope, the members of the System will forgive us for that. :-))

It''s related to the hysteria raised by the authorities and the mass media around MMM. By joining forces, they''ve managed to nearly give the members of the System a heart attack and have frightened them out of their wits. Poor souls don''t know what to expect. Will we open again or not? :-))

This is why we''ve decided, considering the situation, to reach out to the members, reassure and cheer them up by opening a little earlier. After all, Together We Can Change The World! :-))

Here we go.

1. As of this notice, MMM resumes its usual operation. You can now create your GH-requests.

2. However, it''s obvious that panic will reign in the first few days after the re-opening of the System. We’re likely to be deluged by GH-requests. Therefore, we''re going to make gradual paybacks by setting internal output limits. In other words, we will only pay a certain amount per day. Please, be prepared to wait for a couple of days. We are certain things will then calm down, and the System operation will return to normal.

We''re the ones setting the limits, so it''s completely under our control, and we are not expecting any emergencies in principle. Have no fear and go on about your business as usual. :-))

As the System is socially oriented, we will make paybacks to the poor and the economically disadvantaged in the first place: it means to the members with small PH amounts. The richer can wait. Moreover, we''ve warned you repeatedly to only provide help with amounts that are not critical for you. Therefore, if these large amounts are not critical for them (the richer), they can wait a few days. No need to be tragic about it. :-))

This is the way it''s going to be.

Hoping for your kind understanding, Sergey Mavrodi. We Change The World!

P. S. I''d like again to call on the authorities and the mass media: Please, leave us alone! Have mercy on people.

Some plain-clothes policemen on Friday arrested and whisked to Abuja a journalist based in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Jerry Edoho.
The young journalist, who is the Deputy Editor of Ibom Nation Newspaper, a local publication, was arrested by the security operatives and forcibly taken to the Federal Capital over a post he allegedly put up on his Facebook page involving Dana Air.
Edoho, had while reacting to a photograph of a purported crash involving a Dana flight heading to Lagos from Abuja in which he was tagged, sought clarification from friends on his list to confirm the authenticity of the story.
He had written, “Rumor via social media (Facebook) has it that Dana Air enroute Abj-Lag with 153 passengers crashed killing all on board. Please could someone help verify the authenticity of this shocking report? Below is (the) pix from the scene as uploaded on my wall.”
But following a petition by Dana Air to the police authorities in Abuja after the said photograph became a hot topic of discussion among a section of Facebook users; Edoho was arrested in Uyo on Friday and taken to the FCT on a Dana flight scheduled to leave by 4pm.

Law enforcement sources identify suspect in Fort Lauderdale airport shooting

The man suspected of killing five people Friday at Fort Lauderdale's airport is identified as Esteban Santiago, according to multiple law enforcement officials.
Santiago didn't resist when he was taken into custody, Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel said. According to his booking information, Santiago is being held without bond on a murder charge.
The 26-year-old lives in Alaska, where he was a security guard.

Alaska was also the site of his last military assignment. He was a member of the Alaska Army National Guard from November 2014 until August when he was discharged for unsatisfactory performance, a spokeswoman for the Guard said.
In November, Santiago paid a visit to the FBI office in Anchorage, telling agents he was being directed by a US intelligence agency to fight for ISIS, law enforcement sources told CNN. George Piro, the FBI's special agent in charge, told reporters that Santiago was turned over to local authorities and he voluntarily submitted to a mental health evaluation.
The military said Santiago's nine years of service in the National Guard included one 10-month tour of Iraq, where he was awarded a combat action badge.
